Linksnip: Chrome Extension for Shortening and Cleaning URLs
In addition to shortening links, Linksnip also removes various tracking parameters from the URL. This results in a much shorter and cleaner link that can be easily shared with others. To use the extension, simply click on the Linksnip button, and a shortened URL will be copied to your clipboard. If the extension does not recognize how to shorten a particular URL, it will copy the entire address as is.
Please note that Linksnip requires access to your tabs in order to retrieve the page address, and it also requires write access to your clipboard in order to place the shortened URL there.
